Ruby-throated Hummingbird
This female Ruby-throated Hummingbird kept coming to the feeder while I was sitting on the porch just before dusk. I was just a few feet from the feeder and she was weary of feeding with me being so close. In the end, the nectar won the game. She kept an eye on me but had to get a few sips from the feeder. The blur of the wings and the red and green colors makes this a great portrait. It was taken in Madisonville, Tennessee.
